Bafana Bafana midfielder Bongani Zungu recorded his ninth league appearance for his Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes on the weekend, and after their victory, he and his teammates participated in a chilling Icelandic celebration. Did you see it?
The 24-year-old's side recorded an impressive 3-0 win over Rio Ave on Sunday evening, and after the win, the players went over to their supporters and greeted them with a clapping salute.
The celebration was made famous by Iceland at last year's European Championship, and since then, many teams have adopted the powerful jamboree.
Basically, a leader stands between his teammates and the fans, and he starts clapping slowly, with the words "Hey!" being chanted at the same time. The clapping then picks up pace, before everyone breaks out in cheer.
In the video below, Zungu can be seen standing at the front of the pack as he cheers on with the Vitoria Guimaraes supporters.
