Real Madrid's defence of their UEFA Champions League title continues, after they claimed a 4-2 aggregate win over Ateltico Madrid to progress to the final in Cardiff.
Los Blancos came into the clash with a healthy lead, after Cristiano Ronaldo's hat-trick secured a 3-0 win in the first leg.
Atletico broke the deadlock in the 12th minute as Saul Niguez rose well to head home Koke's corner into the back of the net.
The hosts were then awarded a penalty four minutes later when Sergio Ramos brought down Fernando Torres. Antoine Griezmann stepped up and converted the spot-kick, 2-0.
Zinedine Zidane's charges were finding it tough to break down the Atletico defence for most of the opening half.
However, Los Blancos eventually reduced the deficit in the 42nd minute, as Isco poked home from close range after Toni Kroos' shot was saved by Jan Oblak.
The score remained 2-1 to the home side at the halftime break.
Diego Simeon opted for a change 10 minutes into the second half, as Torres made way for Ghana star Thomas Partey.
Keylor Navas came to Real's rescue in the 64th minute, as he produced a superb double save to deny Yannick Carrasco and Kevin Gameiro in quick succession.
Zidane opted for a double change after 76 minutes as Marcos Asensio and Lucas Vazquez replaced Benzema and Casemiro.
The home side pushed for more goals in the closing stages but the Real defence managed to withstand the pressure.
Despite suffering a 2-1 defeat on the night, Real advance to the final after winning the tie 4-2 on aggregate and will now face Juventus.
