Sergio Romero has put-to-paper on a new four-year deal with the club, which see him remain at the club until 2021.

“I am delighted to have signed a new contract.  Who wouldn’t want to be at the biggest club in the world?  We have great goalkeepers here and we are always learning from each other," Romero told the club's official website.

"Of course, it was a very proud moment for me and my family to be part of the Europa League final, and I am looking forward to helping the team build on last season’s success in 2017/18.”

The Argentine is United's second choice goalkeeper behind David De Gea, but he was involved in United's 2-0 win over Ajax Amsterdam in the Europa League final.

No problem if De Gea leaves, Romero is still a great goalkeeper and Joel Perreira will be the second choice

We can let da gea leave now for Madrid if Madrid is still interested in his services coz this keeper has proven himself between the sticks that we can rely on him
