The 20-year-old forward had an impressive 2016 in Zimbabwe after bursting onto the scene with Highlanders, scoring five goals and going on to be named as the Castle Lager Rookie of the Year.
Dube is currently on international duty for the Warriors, having scored in the COSAFA Cup and featured in the weekend’s 1-0 Chan qualifying defeat to Namibia, however, may not be going back to Zimbabwe at all if SuperSport has their way.
According to Siya sources, Matsatsantsa is keen on trying to lure the forward to South Africa ahead of the new season, with Tinkler seeing some promise in the young striker that has acquired the nickname ‘Gaddafi’.
The forward was recently linked with another PSL side, Baroka, however, it is thought that SuperSport lead the race for his signature if he does move on from Highlanders.
Meanwhile, SuperSport is also still in talks regarding a move for Siyabonga Nhlapo, while Dove Wome has been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates.
